1. About Us

The Cycle Centre UK supplies bicycles, cycling products, workshop servicing, repairs, bike hire and related cycling services from our Newcastle locations and through our website.

By using our website, placing an order, booking a service, hiring equipment or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products, Prices and Availability

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices and availability are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors, change prices, update product information or cancel orders where incorrect information has been displayed.

All products and services are subject to availability.

3. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you will receive confirmation that we have received it. This does not mean the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed once your order has been accepted and dispatched, collected, or the relevant service has begun.

Payment must be received in full before goods are released, dispatched or services are completed, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Delivery and Collection

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, suppliers, weather, or events outside our reasonable control.

Where collection is arranged, customers should collect goods within the agreed timeframe.

5. Online Cancellation Rights

If you purchase goods online, by telephone or by mail order, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods and return them within a further 14 days.

Returned goods must be unused, complete and in a resaleable condition, with original packaging where reasonably possible.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Custom, personalised, special order or used items may not be eligible for cancellation unless faulty.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with UK consumer law.

7. Workshop Repairs and Servicing

By leaving a bicycle with us for servicing or repair, you authorise us to carry out the agreed work.

If additional work is required, we may contact you for approval before proceeding.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work on bicycles that are unsafe, illegally modified, excessively dirty, structurally damaged, or present a risk to staff or customers.

Customers should remove accessories, lights, bags, computers, bottles and valuables before leaving a bicycle with us. We are not responsible for personal items left on bikes.

8. Bike Hire

Where bicycles or equipment are hired from us, customers must complete the required hire agreement or accept the hire conditions online.

Hired equipment remains the property of The Cycle Centre UK at all times.

Customers are responsible for hired equipment during the hire period and must return it in the same condition it was supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.

A security deposit may be required. Charges may apply for late return, loss, theft or damage.

Customers use hired equipment at their own risk and are responsible for riding safely and legally.

9. Cycle to Work Schemes

We accept eligible Cycle to Work vouchers and certificates from participating providers.

Cycle to Work purchases are subject to the terms of the relevant scheme provider as well as these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation, amendment or refund requests may be subject to provider-specific rules and timescales.

10. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties are provided by the relevant manufacturer and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Warranty cover does not usually include normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, crash damage, poor maintenance or unauthorised modification.

11. Uncollected Goods

Bicycles, parts or accessories left uncollected after notification may incur reasonable storage charges.

If goods remain uncollected for a prolonged period and we have made reasonable attempts to contact the owner, we reserve the right to dispose of or sell the goods to recover outstanding costs, where permitted by law.

12. Website Use

You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce viruses, or interfere with the operation of the site.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website, products or services.

14. Privacy

Personal information supplied to us will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
