|Description||Brompton S Bag - remodeled for 2016 (last remodel was 2010 - this is effectively version 3), complete with rain proof cover, frame for mounting to the Brompton luggage system and shoulder carrying strap.
Note: The front carrier block is sold separately here.
Brompton S bag key features:
Suitable for all Brompton handlebar types
Suspended compartment for carrying laptop
Integrated reflective, rain resistant cover
Adjustable padded shoulder carry strap
Changeable / replaceable front flap
This luggage item is suitable for use with any Brompton bicycle type (some of the other Brompton luggage options are not suitable for the S-type bicycle because the height of the bag can inhibit handlebar movement and steering)
Beautifully designed and made - just as you would expect from Brompton.
A bright yellow lining allows you to find your stuff easier.
Embroidered Brompton logo on the front flab, and folding bike logo on the adjustable shoulder strap - see photo.
Among the improvements introduced in 2016 is the fact that the S bag now has a suspended laptop compartment.
The removable front flap allows the bags to be personalised with different designs. (shown here with the standard black flap - with Brompton logo) - so you can be corporate and black during the week and bright at the weekends (or vice versa!)
Comes supplied with a shoulder strap and an integrated high visibility rainproof cover.
Capacity: 20 litres (approx)
Dimensions: 420 mm (w) x 260 mm (h) x 170 mm (d)
Brompton front luggage options are based on the Brompton 'Front Carrier System'. Luggage is attached via a frame that latches securely onto a tapered block. It takes a second to attach or release your bag and the load is attached directly to the main frame - with little effect on steering.
The S Bag comes fitted with a padded shoulder strap which is designed to be stowed away when the bag is fitted to the bike so that there is no risk of loose material snagging. To stow the strap open the cam buckle and pull the strap through so it is tight against the top of the bag. Close the buckle and stuff the loose loop of strap into the mesh stuff pocket.
For safe use it is essential that the strap is "stowed" when the bag is fitted to the bike.
